The brief
Overview
Upholstered acoustic panelling and an insulated partition wall for a boardroom where the conversations genuinely could not carry into the corridor.
The challenge
A standard gypsum partition passes far more sound than most people expect. The client needed board-level confidentiality, not just a closed door.
What we did
A double-skin partition with an isolated stud line and rockwool infill, faced with upholstered acoustic panels that absorb reflections inside the room. Speech is inaudible from the corridor.
